Ramadan Package — February 2026.
The single largest receiving project in QIF’s FY 2026 portfolio. Distribution of full Ramadan rations to families across Pakistan, funded through the Canadian chapter and delivered on the ground by the Pakistan team.
Target was not declared in advance. Rs 310,000 raised group-attributed across the Canadian chapter’s Ramadan campaign — the proving ground for QIF’s Ramadan capacity.
What Rs 310,000 actually did.
Ramadan packages are calorie-dense, family-sized, 30-day food kits. The number of families reached scales linearly with funds received — no overhead, no friction.
Why the Ramadan campaign matters strategically.
Ramadan is the single largest annual fundraising window for Muslim charities. Industry surveys put 60–70% of total annual giving inside this 30-day period. Capacity built here compounds every other month.
The Rs 310,000 raised in February 2026 is QIF’s real-world capacity proof point — the Canadian chapter’s ability to mobilise the existing donor base for a time-bound, high-conviction campaign. Year 1 of QIF’s strategic plan uses Ramadan as exactly this test, and FY 2026 cleared it.
The work itself is unglamorous and effective: shopping lists, bulk-pack rations, vehicle hire, last-mile distribution to families on the Pakistan team’s vetted list. Recipients keep their dignity — packages are delivered to homes, not collected from a queue.
The Canadian-funded Ramadan Package runs in parallel with the Pakistan-side Ramzan Rashan Program (Rs 200,000 target, separate donor base). Together they bookend the same 30 days from two directions.

Ramadan package.
Recurring monthly giving builds the Ramadan capacity year over year. A Rs 7,000 monthly commitment funds one family package per year — deductible (CRA registration pending).
