Family Support Project —
two streams, recurring.
The single largest workhorse line in the QIF Canadian portfolio — Rs 170,000 / month combined across two streams of named family donors. Under the planned Path C structure, this line moves to a private family trust separate from the public charity.
Two distinct donor streams (A: Rs 150K/mo, B: Rs 20K/mo) combine to Rs 170,000/month. Variance: Rs 80K received against ~Rs 680K target across Q1 is significantly below pace.
What recurring family support actually covers.
Direct monthly transfers to family members in need. Two streams, four named donors, structured discipline. Path C will move this work to a private trust — the public dashboard records it transparently while it lives in QIF.
Why this line moves to the family trust.
The Family Support Project is the most transparent illustration of why QIF needs the Path C structure. The work itself — monthly support to named family members in need — is morally clear and operationally disciplined. But because both donors and beneficiaries are named family members, the line does not belong inside a public charity.
Path C, articulated in the QIF strategic plan, separates QIF (public charity, public-benefit work) from a private Qureshi Family Trust (private welfare for named family). The Family Support Project — both Stream A (Rs 150K/mo) and Stream B (Rs 20K/mo) — moves to the Family Trust ledger. QIF (the charity) keeps schools, water, wheelchairs, prosthetics, education, relief work.
Until that structural change is enacted, the line is recorded transparently in QIF’s portfolio. This page exists precisely so the work is visible and accounted for — not to obscure it.
Variance note: Rs 80,000 received against ~Rs 680,000 target across the first four months is significantly below pace. April and May are entered as Rs 0 received in Master Data — the same stall window flagged across the rest of the FY 2026 Q1 portfolio. Reconciliation against bank inflows is ongoing.
Companion line under same lead: Professional Development Project — same recurring-donor pattern, same Canada-side execution, same Path C destination.
FY 2026 — monthly cadence.
Stream A and Stream B run on the same monthly cadence. Each month sees Rs 170,000 committed; reconciliation against bank inflows determines actuals.

Family Support is internally documented. Public-facing photos are not appropriate for this line — donors and beneficiaries are family members. The dashboard records receipts and disbursements; field documentation is held privately.

Family Support migrates to a private trust under Path C. The public-benefit work — schools, water, wheelchairs, education, relief — remains at QIF and is open to all donors.
